The Dewey .50 BMG cleaning rod with jag and McCutchen Firearms guide bushing is a "must-have" accessory.

Cleaning a .50 BMG takes a bit more muscle, and Dewey's .33"-thick rod can handle the load. McCutchen's custom-designed rod guide bushing fits in the back of the MF-50 receiver to keep the cleaning rod driving straight, to protect the barrel and make cleaning much easier.

All .50 Caliber Nylon Coated Rods have a 12/28 Male Thread, an outside diameter of approximately .330 inches, and a dual track ball bearing handle. The Nylon will not peel or pick up abrasives of any kind. The .50 caliber rods are 54" of nylon coated rod and a stainless steel extension handle. Dewey uses male threads because they allow for a coating 7-9 times thicker than female threaded rods. The connection between the male thread and rod attachment is much stronger, as well.
